We specialise in intensive driving courses in Hull. Intensive driving courses are all we do – all day, every day. So when you book your intensive driving course in Hull, you know you’re getting a truly specialist service with Parrot.
Our reputation for quality training has ran (or driven!) away with us and we now offer our specialist driver training in Hull, Beverley, York, Lincoln, Grimsby, Scarborough and Scunthorpe to name just a few.
When we say a crash or crash course, we mean a specially designed 4-hour session that will not only get you passing your test, but set you up to be a confident and happy driver.
Some crash courses are just a bunch of one-hour lessons stitched together and disguised as a crash course Don’t be tricked by these and don’t think you have to have previous experience to partake in these types of intensive courses – our relaxed approach will make even the most inexperienced beginner feel relaxed and ready to hit the road. So, you’re ready to book your intensive driving course in Hull. The next question is…which licence are you after?
Your category C licence will allow you to drive and rigid vehicle regardless of the weight or number of axles.
If you’re a little bit old-school you may also know this as your Class 2.
You can also opt to take an intensive driving course to gain your C+E licence, or your Class 1. This comes into play if you are after driving large trucks as it will allow the holder to drive and combination of articulated vehicle.
To drive vehicles heavier that 3500kgs, you’re going to need your Category C1. But that’s okay! Because you can take this intensive driving course in Hull with Parrot!
This used to be an automatic update on your licence, but for anyone who passed after 1st January 1997, you will need to take the C1 training to drive a vehicle of this weight.
Category B + E:
Towing a trailer also requires a special kind of licence. Your Category B licence allows you to add a trailer to your vehicle up to 750kgs MAM. You can add a trailer over this weight as long as:
a) the MAM of the trailer is not heavier that the unladen weight of the vehicle.
b) the combined weight of the two does not go over 3500kgs MAM.
In either of these cases, you would need to study and train for your Category B+E licence.
Initial CPC Qualification:
