LGV Training at its very best. We only train our students in ex-industry LGV vehicles, no shortend or cut down trucks at Parrot.
Never Driven Before
Never driven before? No problem. All you need is a provisional licence, we’ll sort the rest.
The First Bit
To start off your training you will be enrolled on our five day starter course consisting of 20 hours driver training taken at four hours a day, this amount of intensive training should get you well on the way to driving to a reasonable standard. At the end of the five day course we arrange for you to sit the theory test.
The Second Bit
When you pass the theory test we allocate you with a practical test and book you in for your last bit of training, usually just a day or so prior to your actual test. This last part of your training is tailored to suit your needs and is scheduled to run consecutively up to your test, maximising your ability and chances of passing first time.
- No requirement to hold a valid theory test pass certificate for the starter week
- Structured course length tailored to your specific level of competence
- Free unlimited theory training support
- Full trainer booking facilities so we can manage the entire process of your driver training
- Maximum student progress achieved through modern intensive training
- The vast majority of students are taking their practical test within 4-6 weeks of enrollment
How much will it cost?
Your training day will be a four hour lesson, either taken as morning or afternoon session, 0800-1200 or 1300-1700.
DSA Theory Test Fee £ 23.00
DSA Practical Test Fee £ 62.00
Where’s the catch?
There isn’t one. We tailor each and every course to suit you and your needs. Everyone’s ability is different, so why risk paying for more or less training than you’re likely to need? Don’t be fooled into buying block lessons dressed up as an intensive course.
Your training is broken down into two parts and for very good reasons too. The first part is the actual bit where you will learn to drive, there’s no practical test at the end of this first part and so there’s no pressure (makes a bit of sense if you think about it).
Once you have the bulk of the training under your belt and you have some experience you sit your theory and (hopefully) pass first time (we give you free unlimited theory training remember?)
Theory passed? Good, well done you.
Now it gets exciting, we can book your practical test and last bit of training.
We specialise in intensive training, it is the only type of training we offer, we think it’s the most affective method for driver training. Most students are at test standard within 8 training days with a typical turnaround of 4-6 weeks.
And that’s all there is to it. Honestly.
That said, should you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact our office on 01482 811123 and ask for Emma or Cerys.
